Safety
Safety is of the utmost importance to us. All of our staff and volunteers have gone through the Safechurch program to ensure that your child is safe at all times. This includes background checks, reference checks, a minimum tenure of six months, personal interviews, and training prior to serving with children.
Sunday Check-In
You will register your children at our check in station. You will receive three stickers (two if not checking into the nursery). One for you, one for any diaper bags or backpacks, and one for your child. The barcodes on your stickers will match and you will need to bring your sticker to pick your child up from class or nursery.
Prefer to Keep your Baby with You?
We have two nursing rooms in our main building. One is in the back of our auditorium. This room has one way windows so you can see into service but your privacy is protected. Rocking chairs, snacks, a refrigerator, blankets, diapers and wipes, and a changing table are provided. There is also a nursing room inside the baby nursery. This room has rocking chairs and a changing table as well.
456: 4th-6th grade
The goal of 456 is to provide community and age appropriate teaching to our preteens while preparing them to transition into youth ministry. 456ers have their own dedicated Bible classes at 10 AM on Sunday mornings. We believe 4th graders are more than capable of beginning to form habits of worship in “big church”. To encourage engagement and participation, we provide kids bulletins for this age group. You can find them at the check-in desk in our lobby. Kids are invited to fill them out and turn them back in with their name on them. Once per quarter, Ms. Emily draws one for an Amazon gift card.
456 joins the youth group once per month from 5-7 PM for dinner, games, and Bible Study. Contact Ms. Emily for dates!
456ers also enjoy their own spring retreat, engage in Vacation Bible School, and are invited to attend Palmetto Bible Camp.
