YouthQuest is our teen ministry for rising 7th graders through high school graduates. Throughout the year we offer many exciting trips and opportunities for teens to grow closer to God and to each other. This is a place for teens to feel safe and loved, all while making friends and having fun.
For your children’s safety, all of our chaperones, teachers and volunteers have gone through the Royal Treatment.
Recurring School Year Events
KORT: On Sunday mornings from 10-11am in BOB, teens will split up based on grade and gender in order to share and discuss what is happening in their lives right now. These classes are taught by at least two adult volunteers who teach Scripture in a practical way to help with the struggles teens are facing at this point in their lives.
BELONG: The first churches were places that Christians (Christ followers) found sustenance, encouragement and a place to BELONG. YouthQuest is recreating a similar environment on Wednesday nights for nomads, exiles and aliens in search of a place to BELONG. We meet in the gym on Wednesday nights from 7-8pm.
Basketball: Make some new friends and have fun in a healthy, team environment. Teams are split by age and gender with weekly practices. Games occur on Saturdays at different churches around town. This is a great way to start getting your friends involved in church events! Teams are available for 6-18 year olds.
Weddington and Providence Bible Studies: On Wednesday mornings, teens that attend Weddington or Providence Middle or High School are welcome to join their peers Bible study and fellowship. Providence High meets at the Arboretum Chick-Fil-A at 6:00am. Weddington High meets at the Wesley Chapel Chick-Fil-A at 7:00am. Weddington Middle meets at the Wesley Chapel Chick-Fil-A at 7:50am. Brad Childers will drive all who need rides to school in the church bus.
Cuthbertson Bible Study: On Thursday mornings, teens that attend Cuthbertson Middle or High School are welcome to join their peers for Bible Study and fellowship. Cuthbertson High meets at the Wesley Chapel Chick-Fil-A at 6:45am. Cuthbertson Middle meets at the Wesley Chapel Chick-Fil-A at 7:45am. Brad Childers will drive all who need rides to school in the church bus.
Let It Out: On Thursday nights from 7-9pm in Room 28, teens that are struggling with addiction, brokenness and unhealthy relationships meet together in a safe, healing environment. This program is much like Celebrate Recovery, but just for teens.
SALT: The Student Active Leadership Team meets every two weeks to pray over the youth group, deepen their relationship with God, study God’s Word and help plan events. If you would like to find out more, click here.
Annual Trips
Winterfest: 7th-12th
Spend a few days in Gatlinburg, TN with thousands of other kids from Churches of Christ around the southeast. With amazing worship, great concerts, representatives from multiple colleges and organizations and plenty of shopping opportunities, don't miss out on your chance to have a few days with your friends away from school to focus on God!
Appalachian Trail: Rising 9th graders-Graduates.
Take a 50+ mile hike over 5 days with all your gear on your back. This is a trip to revel in God’s work in nature and build close relationships with your fellow hikers.

Palmetto Bible Camp: 3rd graders-Graduates
PBC is a family-oriented camp experience over the week of July 4th. Teenagers from the Carolinas get together for Bible teaching, crafts, games and fun in the outdoors, but don’t be surprised to see little ones running around with their parents.
Baja Mission Trip: Rising 10th-12th
We will be spending time at OASIS, and after school program directed by our own Karly Dallas and time with Oasis families and Vicente Guerrero teens.
